Sisterhood of the Traveling Refugee Sunday Bag

Be MUCH cheaper than it coming from the USA, would be awesome if it could work. I guess it really depends on if it’s going to @GremlinGolfer’s little shindig in California or over to NZ with @BeenMacKenzied after that I guess…

Thoughts gents?

If someone has their heart set on getting the bag back to California and here for the Frigid Flask, who am I to argue?

this would be most excellent…side note…can I fit in your travel bag to NZ??

Very, very glad we called the shipping audible considering I’m sitting in an office in Atlanta right now haha

Glad she made it okay
We’re on a winning streak, as you’ll read.

Currently reading through the journal while listening to a committee hearing, and thoroughly loving the waffle home goblet that @tedscott added to my work mug quiver.

Also, just booked a tee time in Dubai during my 8-hour Christmas layover, so the Bag is gonna check off another continent. If I can find a local course where I’m at in India, it’ll get a loop there, too. My photography-obsessed friend will be there to catalogue any India shenanigans, which will more than make up for whatever subpar shots I get in Dubai.

Just realizing that says “Waffle Holidays.” Not sure what they were trying for there haha.

What course??

Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, home of Rory’s first professional tournament victory at the 2009 Dubai Desert Classic. Championship Course for sure, and possibly a few loops around their par 3 depending on how nervous I am about missing my flight.

Where in India? There is some seriously good golf, just very elitist.

I’ll be at a wedding in Bhubaneswar. I haven’t been able to find anything over there yet, but I also have not looked that hard haha

You’re just a short, 29-hour drive from the Himalayan Golf Course, which Tom Doak rated as his first and only 11 out of 10. In case you’re feeling frisky.

My time was spent in Bangalore, so I do not have any insight for you. First Indian wedding? Quite the spectacle, almost wonder if just mingling with guests will be your best bet

I spent an entire saturday trying to engineer a layover that would make that possible. Next time I’m over in that part of the world it is happening for sure.

WTF is a bar-cum-restaurant? Follow-up question, is it bad to be intrigued?

I told you I didn’t try very hard

Only had about 17 seconds with the bag after my round but want it duly noted that its wining streak is still intact.
Signed the flag, but never wrote in the journal, didn’t get to put anything in the goody bag.

@alexshreff did we get some good photos on the day?
