Please forgive the spam cross-post here; the Events board has really dried up as all the Roosts have moved to discord / slack / whatsapp, so our charity raffle this year isn’t getting the attention it has in the past. The Strohs are playing our big tri-city Ryder Cup event in two weeks, call the Texas Cup. This is the sixth year (which predates the roost concept!) that teams of 12 players each from Austin/San Antonio, Houston, and DFW have gathered for a weekend of fourballs, alt-shot, and singles matches to determine state supremacy.
Each year we do a raffle, and we could use your help raising money this year by purchasing some raffle tickets! All the details, including a list of the items currently available, can be found in the Raffle thread (link) . All money raised will go to Kids Eat, Inc, which is a wonderful organization helping to feed hungry kids in our central texas communities.
