Roll Call: Wisconsin - Madison vs Milwaukee

It sounds to me like you need to make friends with someone here to drive with you. I think you’ll find some pushback against QQO and The Bull here…

Quit Qui Oc’s front 9 is an original Tom Bendelow that I quite enjoy. The back 9 is re built from the original with some good and some really bad holes IMO. The Bull is a Nicklaus design and outside of The Oaks in the Madison area is probably the most…I’ll call polarizing golf course in the state. If you’re coming from out of town though it’s got good views and is very well kept so not the worst option. If I’m paying for my own round Quit Qui Oc is my go to, but I also play league at The Bull every week.

Can take this to DM’s if you want but when are you coming up? Be willing to play with you if you need company and maybe we could make something happen at one of the other courses

QQO fucking sucks

Just because you can’t break 105 there doesn’t make it a terrible course

Also compared to the other options in the immediate vicinity hence the original question I’m curious what you think a better option is

the hole designs, conditions, and pace of play do

This won’t be a problem when you and @Ultra-Kiger join Pine Valley.

Yeah, but other than that it’s a great course.

It’s his opinions. Front 9 is fine, back 9 not as much. Conditions, it’s very firm and fast as like many courses they can’t afford the water to soften everything but I think it’s fine, pace of play issues not unique to this course. Peer price point range, Town and Country, Riverdale, and The Bull has it’s own issues at a higher price point, again in our county I ask what is a better option?

My wife™ and I had an absolutely fantastic time in Milwaukee this past weekend. The city is exceedingly walkable (we walked 10 miles over two days) and the food, people, and single concert venue we went too were fantastic. If the one guy I accidentally cut off as I was darting onto an exit ramp is in here (I was the Michigan license plate you pulled up next to and yelled at) I’m very sorry!

Also, Stone Creek is indeed the center of the coffee maze. My wife™ and I enjoyed every single item we got there, including the pastries. We even bought a tea towel on our second visit we liked it so much.

We’ll have to return though and are already planning on it because we didn’t get to visit a single brewery while we were in town. The timing didn’t work out since they all closed early on Sunday :frowning:
