Rained all day. Not heavy. We needed it. They must not have fixed the drainage issues with LLB my course down the street was very playable Wednesday afternoon. Wasn’t even getting any mud balls.

I’ll chime in. A full slate WSGA day with 36 holes and probably 80% riding carts, that’s an incredible amount of cart traffic after over an inch of rain locally. They’ve added a good amount of cart paths this off season but many holes still require a drive through the fairway. The turf is probably just finding it’s groove again after the heat we had a couple of weeks ago. I think Jimmy Cavezza and his team decided what was best for the course for the remainder of the year.

By high ground, I’m assuming you play out of OGC. I had the chance to play recently and just kept thinking how insane that place could be with a top to bottom restoration/renovation. Still an awesome layout in it’s current state!
Don’t get me started. Brian Schneider recently came out and posted to insta about how good the place could be if it was just restored to the original plan. There is a master plan in place. Most of it is good, but there isn’t any desire to do a full on shut the course down for a year or two restoration.

I played during the PGA champ and I was imagining doing to OGC what Andrew Green did to Oak Hill. Would rival the best privates in the state, but definitely a huge undertaking.

Would be incredible. There are some cool things in the original plan and getting back to the Ross greens.
