The Roosts are clubs spread throughout the US, Canada, and the UK that are either already existing or forming to commit to playing competitive golf to determine entrants into a Worldwide Championship later this year.
Really what we are trying to do is get people out to play golf locally with other sickos and develop the in person connections many of us in other parts of the country and world have done.
I cannot express how much I value the real life friendships Iāve found here. Finding people interested in golf the way you are interested in golf makes it so much more enjoyable.

You donāt have to be a Nest Member to play in local qualifiers, but you do in order to advance out of local play.

I donāt think that it falls in the same category as growing the game, just encouraging people who already play golf to get together IRL.
Where else are you going to find a bunch of people willing to walk 36?

Just seeing they did announce the roots. We didnāt get one. Could be a blessing in disguise. We will still hook up. Now we have shared emails and we had a good number of folks sign up. Would like to setup a indoor meeting in Buffalo dome after new year. If anyone in roc wants to join or do one that way let me know.

The boarder issues is the problem right now. Even bring vaxxed you have to get tested to go over. Tests are 225 dollars. My buddy drives thru to Michigan alot and has the issue every time even as recent as sunday. I understand though and I donāt think there are restrictions to who or how many you really join anyhow. If they have events in Cleveland area thatās not bad and donāt have to deal with the boarder. But we are still doing at least 1 event on our area. Gives us a chance for when they expand.
