I’ve only played the Hill but planning on playing Lake. The Lake is supposed to be restored but not sure where these plans are at the time being. I know The Institution got killed last year.
Have heard the same. I was told the greens were shot a few weeks back.
Friday Tee Times are tough to get. Tried basically everywhere except Arrowhead. And nothing until mid afternoon.
Made one at Audubon for 848 if anyone wants to join.
Rochester golfer, but going to be playing Glen Oak in Buffalo in a few weeks. What do people think of course?
Anyone playing this Thursday morning?
Anyone interested in playing at shelridge, in Medina this Thursday at 930. I have passes. Cart included.
Anyone have any interest in trying to do a Mel
Meet up before the season ends. Would have to be within the next 2 weeks for me. I can do almost any day as long as I don’t have plans.
Thought this thread would be an appropriate place to post this local group entering the boutique putter arena. If anyone follows Corey Paul on Instagram (Products) he is involved in this new putter business with some other local Rochester people.
They are a little out of my price range, but really hope this works out for them.
His wedges look great. Would play them if they were USGA approved.
Just looked at these and not my cup of tea.
What makes them not USGA compliant? Never heard of that before.
I haven’t seen anywhere in his site that grooves are compliant although now that I think about it I think they would be.
Grooves can’t be the square grooves anymore. I assume he manufactures his wedges to be compliant.
Howdy ya’ll! So, moving to Buffalo in December. Not expecting any golfing to be had once I move but any indoors places ya’ll can recommend so I keep those gains I’ve gathered this year?
I’m not really that familiar with the Southtowns, but the golf dome in Tonawanda is her my in-laws house and I have been there several times. I think they still have simulators there as well.
Tonawanda Paddock Dome has indoor dome and sumulators
The Dome on wherle and transit has indoor some and simulators as well
Buffalo golf and social I think you can rent Trackman time and they may do leagues (also they are opening a second location at some point in West Seneca)
I’ve only driven through Buffalo once so not familiar with the area but GF and I are renting an apartment in Elmwood Village.
Buffalo golf and social is more for lessons or indoor league I’d say. If you want to just hit balls I’d do the dome on wherle.
I’m in the Elmwood village too.
Looking for a nice golf rain jacket with a hood. Any suggestions?
Just in case anyone feels like a drive down the 90 next week.
Would love to but not sure I can get away with two weekends away for golf trips
For those not on the WhatsApp chat, looking to get a group to play this Friday around 10
Let me know if interested
