Ted Drewe’s frozen custard, The Muni (outdoor venue for plays in Forest Park), spend time in Forest Park in general (all the attractions are free; the zoo, art museum, history museum), brewery tour (4 Hands, Urban Chestnut, Rockwell [skip Schlafly]).
And of course, enjoy watching the Braves get swept

So - I realize I never really did anything following the post about the Frozen Open at Forest Park (Jan 1) - probably because I knew I wasn’t crazy about putting forth the effort to coordinate a 9 hole event. In doing so, we missed a near 70 degree day. Figures
Putting that aside, Forest Park also does a Mardi Gras event - which I assume will be the last weekend in Feb (with Fat Tuesday on 3/1). In year’s past this was a 2-man scramble (18 hole event). Last year we cobbled together 3 teams. I don’t have info on this yet - but thought I’d start collecting interest so we can reserve the spots necessary (and all start on or around the same holes).
If it happened to be the Saturday after Fat Tuesday - we run up against the MVC Basketball Tournament - which might just impact me… Given the way Bradley’s season has gone, I think I’ll be easily be choosing freezing golf anyway.
I’ll post the details as soon as I see it.
EDIT - seems last year it was the Saturday AFTER Fat Tuesday (that would be 3/5/22 this year)
