Wanted to introduce myself. From the Illinois side and play mainly public golf. Favorite courses are Belk Park, Boone Valley and Ruth Park. Love Normandie’s layout but the conditions are a bit much at times. Always looking for a game and would love to meet up with others.

Welcome. Definitely going to have some meetups next year. Let’s hope for a mild winter. Last year was awful.
Another big Belk fan here. I don’t make it up there enough. Boone Valley is on my bucket list…all I’ve heard are great things
The way they are talking I don’t think we will be lucky with winter, but I agree here’s hoping.
Just joined the Refuge and am over in Columbia but visit St. Louis often. Haven’t played any in the area, but really want to. If there is a large get together I would love to meet other golf nuts like myself.

Columbia, MO. Sorry for the delayed response, my brother got married last week so finally getting a chance to catch up on things.
Annbriar might be my favorite in the area. Gateway is also sick, its across the river but you get views of the arch #infrastructure

I know its an old post - but the best way I know to get on STLCC or any other private track around town is to checkout http://www.metga.org/ and see if any amateur events happen to be hosted by the local clubs.
Through METGA I have been able to play Old Warson, STLCC, Belerive, Boone Valley, Norwood…etc… even made a couple cuts along the way!

Hello all! Been an NLU fan since the beginning but just joined the refuge.
I’m a PGA pro at Bellerive(The roast of Bellerive was a fun topic to read haha), and am looking forward to connecting with some St. Louis based refuge folk soon!

This is kind of sad. I’ve been meaning to get out there for about a year or so, just haven’t been able to make it happen. I guess that’s part of the problem too, though. Still, I hate to see this place close down.
