Roll Call: St. Louis - Buildin' a fence... and JRembold is gonna pay for it

The only way this could be improved on is if you got him to put this bad boy on the river in the lower left.

Never been happier to play just the tip.

I’ve only listened to this twice so far today, but I’m pretty sure it cured me.

@chrismarz this chart is absolute PERFECTION

You know how I know that? Gateway is the origin point. It’s average fun, average design chops. High floor low ceiling in both categories.

Bravo my dude, bravo

Shit - you nailed my pivot. Yes slightly more ā€œfunā€ as the bent grass greens typically make it the place to go come late Oct - Novemeber.

And the design is good. Nothing offensive. Nothing too memorable. A couple 7/10 holes and a couple 4/10 holes. All averages out to fine!

Extreme temperatures, terrible soil and 3 times the normal amount of spring rainfall do not make a good combination

Talking to our super, the STL area is just BONED by current and coming weather patterns.

I feel like Zoysia is our only hope… and perpetually overwatered Bent greens

Anyone playing Glen Echo next Monday for their tornado relief day? I just grabbed a time for myself at 2:09. Never played there before so looking forward to it based on the previously mentioned Nutsack of Suck chart not including it.

It brings me great joy to know that my bullshit is being used as a real reference.

Update from Forest Park

ā€œ :loudspeaker: :bangbang: :golf: And just like that… we are back! While we’ve lost many trees, the heart and beauty of your favorite park and course remains! We can’t wait to welcome you back.

Dogwood & Hawthorn are available starting this afternoon! Redbud still needs a bit of time, and should be available within the week.ā€

Honestly, I did not expect them to open back up so soon. It looked pretty brutal out there post-storm and I went through the park and to the zoo this past weekend and it still looked like quite a clean up. Props to whatever teams/volunteers/employees got it back up and running.

I played dogwood early on Monday morning and the damage didn’t really affect areas of play that much. 1 and 3 are definitely more open with some trees down but the rest of the holes seemed pretty much the same.

If anyone is looking for a scramble to play in this September. For a great cause at Gateway on 9/20. They supply AEDs to nearby communities. Early bird pricing for $600 if you sign up soon. https://www.heartofthepartygolf.org/

Quick Match Play update as we enter June…half of our final four is set! Congrats to @ForWhomThePuttRolls and @Kornwhalice, who both enter the Final 4 for the first time (in our storied two-year history).

@zmuel4 and @IlliniGolferHack are battling it out for Illinois supremacy and a spot in the Final 4, while myself and @TheEyeTest have been absolutely derelict in our ability to get a match scheduled. Our winner will get @Espendogger who has NEVER LOST A MATCH IN CGC Match Play for the final spot in the Final 4.

Tanner & I have something scheduled for 6:30am on Monday 6/16 at Ballwin (feel free to join us for some breakfast ball!) but have a couple opportunities to potentially play sooner if things work out.

I won’t be at the World’s Unfair but maybe I could drop off the mugs with someone who will be so that most of you can get your tee gift then!

I don’t have friends or a social life so I am only 10% at fault.

I also am only 10% at fault which leaves about 80% of the blame to our employers, wives, and children

This is true. I blame my kids for 80% of everything that goes wrong in my life.
