Hi all! Welcome to Confluence Major Week!
Much like the PGA, I expect very soft conditions out there Saturday. But unlike the PGA - still a lot of strategy to be worked out on how to optimize the bag/tees played for scoring potential.
That said - we are right on the cut off for potentially releasing 1 of the tee times - so I need confirmation from the following:

You can update the google doc with current handicap OR reply (or DM) with your confirmation.
ALL -
Please lock in desired tees by Tuesday! While the pairings will be random, if there are folks wanting to play tees other than Black, theyāll most likely be grouped together so its more communal golf.
You can make changes with the planned bag setup/carts, up through Friday PM, but please lock them in by then - Iāll be arriving early to FP to pre-mark the scorecards

I should have clarified, I meant to use āUnfairā to describe the event name not the choices. I love the options and makes you come up with a strategy before teeing it up.
Now if all the guis choosing the white teeās end up in the final 4 then I would presume the Worldās Unfair 3 will see a shift in strategies.

Unlike the PGA Tour, the tournament committee monitors every shot and strategy to ensure that when the champion is crowned it is a rightful champion.

@chrismarz Is there a penalty for using a modern driver and another penalty for using modern woods, or just one overall penalty for a modern top of the bag?
Ex: Driver, 3W and 7W results in a loss of ??? points

Short answer - yes

Special Rules and Addendum Scoring:
ā¢ Use of a modern driver (non-persimmon, from 2001 or later) = -2.0
ā¢ Use of a modern fairway or hybrid (non-persimmon, 2001 or later) = -1.0 (max 1 penalty per player)
So if you go Driver - 3w - 7w = -3 points
If you go Driver - 3w = -3 points
If you go NO Driver - 3w - 7w = -1 point

Nothing yet, just exploring options. Watching @Jrembold pound driver from the whites while Iām thinning the piss out of 3 irons all day may not be the best option.
Iām playing whites regardless - just trying to actually be semi-competitive in this thing for once.

Does anyone have experience playing Osage National Golf Course in the Ozarks and if so, which course combos do you recommend? Im going to be playing 36 holes there this summer and wasnāt sure what combination of the three 9ās I should try to play.
