It was a delight hosting you guys
I…did…not
I put one across Highway 14
Flying to Atlanta. Driving to Hilton Head from there to play Harbour Town @SeaPinesResort. Give me a great accessible course on the way to HT.
@EZMiss is spot on w/ the Aiken GC recommendation if you can afford the extra 40 min.
Interesting blend of architecture, good land movement and dirt cheap.
Great. 40 min no problem.
Will probably be closer to an hour since Aiken is on the other side of Augusta, but still very worth it. And then you’ll get to see just how close to the middle of nowhere you can get on those back roads from Aiken to HHI
So true. When I moved from HHI to Aiken my family stayed in HHI for another year. I’d drive home Friday afternoons to HHI and back to my apartment in Aiken on Sunday nights or Monday mornings. I tried 5-6 different routes. They all suck. 55-45-35-25…then 35-45-55…rinse and repeat.
Long time listener, first time poster, so I figured this may be the place to start. I live in the Charleston area, I’m a member at Wild Dunes and try to get out 1-2 times per week. It’s no Yeamans or CC of C, but I’d happily host locals or guests. The Links course is usually in great shape.
Great offer. Thank you.
Welcome! Glad to have you. Will definitely take you up on it next time I’m down that way.
Do you not just play with colored Volviks? What’s the problem?
Happy to. But they wont let us!!!
I’m also a member at Wild Dunes. Do you ever play in the Saturday game? If 2 is a quorum, I think we could get a group together. Wouldn’t be too tough to talk people into coming to the coast.
I have young kids so I don’t often play on the weekends (maybe once a month). Let’s get out there sometime soon!
@Akarito can you get @Mason in the Charleston WhatsApp?
There are some 2022 plans to try and streamline some of our chats to create more play across the state. More information to come but That would be a good place to get started.
I typically play out at Charleston National or the Muni, but got the chance to play Wild Dunes a couple of weeks back and I will be sure to add that into the rotation. Fun course and was in great shape
Hi folks. I recently moved to Charleston from Atlanta. I’m not sure how Wild Dunes works with non-members but I’m interested in playing there (or anywhere around town) on a regular/semi regular basis!
