It would be recommended although it’s not going to be a requirement. If someone doesn’t have something of a legitimate handicap via GHIN, Grint, 18birdies, etc. they will play to a 0.
Hola Amigos!
The Compliance Solutions Championship team invites you to our Volunteer Recruitment Party at Jimmie Austin Golf Club Everest Event Center 5:30pm – 7:30pm on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023. We will have computers available on-site to help with registration. Everyone who signs-up at the party will be entered into a drawing for extra prizes!
Don’t want to come alone? Everyone is encouraged to bring a friend to learn more about volunteer opportunities and enjoy the evening. We do ask that you please RSVP using the link below by February 6th.
Our team is excited for this inaugural event and we look forward to working with the best volunteers on the Korn Ferry Tour in June! As always, please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions, thanks!
I was looking forward to this event so much - and planned to work/attend everyday - but that’s less than a month after whk4 arrives so I won’t be going anywhere this summer (not without the toddler older sister, at least).
Hopefully this becomes a regular event!
We are indeed.
Friday night is a ‘who knows’ situation.
Saturday; the breaking news is we have a slot at TCC for 1140am. Skratch, we have a spot for you if you’d like to brave the chilly, windy walk.
Saturday night Mrs Loaf and I will be out and about for dinner and drinks. We’re a more-the-merrier type crowd if you’d like to be kept in the loop!
Count me in on Saturday, thanks for the spot. We are burning our babysitter tonight for the Judds concert at BOK so Saturday night is a no go. Looking forward to it.
How many open spots do you have for Saturday?
Got one left, it’s all yours @HoselRocketeer
In an attempt to “give the people what they want!”
Choose 1-3 things you would like to see with @TheSupercell logo tastefully slapped on the items below. Or if you would like to suggest something, dm’s are wide open.
- Balls/Gloves
- Polo/Vest/Pullover
- Drinking vessel/Koozie
- Valuables/Zipper pouch
- Yardage book/Scorecard holder
- Suggestions?

How does one select all the things??
Gloves for sure. MG Gloves let you upload an image and customize. I did a bulk order of blade goose gloves last year, finally running out and will probably do a mix of roost logo’d ones (supercell and capital golf club, having lived in both areas)

Significant potential for getting gusted.
Hey yo @jsmoove are we getting the “Full Swing” drop AND survivor bracket drop tmrw?!
Bracket will be posted tonight, sorry for the delay.
The survivor bracket is posted on the google docs sheet for the season events. Let me know if you have questions.
Let’s not try to overcomplicate this. Matches must be played within the time frame given on the sheet. If a player has not paid by the time they play their first match, it will be a forfeit. We’ve got quite a few paid up so just waiting on a few.
Start messaging each other to coordinate rounds and dates. If you want to send me the info, I’ll update the spreadsheet accordingly
If you have a question about the rules, get with me. Single-elimination match play with handicap calculated off the low man in the group. I gave each round of play about 3 weeks to be scheduled and played instead of 2 weeks since we dropped from the original 32 to 16 players. Payout schedule is below:
- 1st place - $320
- 2nd place - $160
- T-3rd - $80
Breakdown:
$640 – paid back to field
$480 (roughly) – Tee gift (timeline on receiving gift is likely April)
$320 –Charitable contribution
$160 - Supercell General Fund
I just realized I haven’t paid for this yet - fixing that now.
Playing my first non-scramble round since August tomorrow, so hoping the time away from the sticks doesn’t come back to bite me.
Received. I’ll update the spreadsheet if you haven’t.
How do you sign up for the major?
