Question for the crew. Twin just upped their guest fee. Am curious what the current rates are across the state for niceish but non-Southern Hills/Oak Tree National/Karsten level courses. Is an interesting time to do so given all of the amenities we currently have to offer (/s) but curious how the new rate compares to market.

I believe Golf Club of Oklahoma is $100 in season and $75 off season for guest fees.

Gaillardia was $150 during the week in 2022.

$140 weekend/$115 weekday.
So probably not completely out of line then, but is a bit of a gut punch being multiple months behind schedule on the new clubhouse with the end still barely in sight.

I failed to mention DH also increased all membership levels dues by 17% to kick off the New Year. This after the board pledged a 4 year freeze on dues for those who stayed during the resto - turns out talk is cheap

a monthly round trip out to OKC, renting a car, finding a place to stay in Ardmore and food & bev might still be cheaper on an annual basis than joining anywhere in the DC area…
