My man! Thanks for running with this. I ruined my rope hat the first time because I wore it for yard work like a true moron.
I second the endorsement for hat saver spray but use it often. I spray my white hats about every 3rd round.

Just to clarify, the first hat (cotton) is XL, right? My melon is not a part of the “most” when they say “one size fits most”, but the XL adjustable Imperials do fit me. Just want to make sure I know what I’m getting into.

Anyone know anything about Stillmeadow Country Club East of Cincinnati? Looking for a pool membership or a social membership (young kids; limited time to make a full golf membership make sense) to try this summer. I’m located in the Anderson area.

Here is the signup sheet for Friday golf before the Findlay event on May 4th. There will be options for an early round and an afternoon round. I will book us some times and figure out other details once I get an idea on the interest level, just know it likely will be a little outside of Findlay somewhere.
Also will reiterate that it’s graduation weekend for the university of Findlay, so hotels that have openings right now may not have them much longer. Especially the two downtown hotels and the nicer hotels along i75.

Went to the Dayton golf expo today. Can’t say it was great but I did talk to the Miami Valley Golf association ceo and reactivated my GHIN. I’m ready for oatw szn.

I was a member when it was still called Royal Oak. I don’t remember their pool being any good. There were some social events but it was more of a “golf club.”
The course wasn’t bad. Not sure what conditioning is like now. You sometimes would get kids and teenagers running onto the course from the white trash apartments on holes 16? 17? Can’t remember but they were definitely around.

Hey all,
Something I do want to embrace a bit more is the channels in slack. Right now we’ve got the merch and the garage sale ones that are fairly active. If you guys create new ones or revive old ones please make sure to let us know. I’d prefer I sell garage stale stuff in Ohio than posting feet pics.
