I don’t even know how to explain what we got hit with last night.
It was near 50 with what felt like a summertime thunderstorm at midnight. We racked up several inches of rain in an hour. At some point we had a flash freeze of the surface water but all the low spots had so much standing water that the water kept flowing underneath. Had about 6” of snow by 7AM with creeks of water flowing underneath it. So glad it stayed out of the basement.
I think here in Dayton we got 2 inches of rain and 2-3” of snow. I was down in the basement at 2am making sure it stayed dry. Sump pump was going damn near nonstop.
Popped on here tonight because I had a weird dream last night I missed the sign up for this and it was already a full field. Didn’t even know if Chad was running it back this year.
I guess what I’m saying is that if I lost a little bit of sleep last night thinking I missed the signup for an event I didn’t even know for sure would happen again this year… it’s probably the best Tuesday afternoon event you could sign up for.

Supposed to have a scramble outing March 15th in central Ohio. We’ll see if that happens. I think the snow will be melted by then but hoping for at least temps in the 40s

For some reason Amazon made the decision to put a package at our back door. I walked around the house to get it. Was 2” deep in mud with each step.
This was February 26, 2023 and probably the 4th or 5th round I had played that year. I played at least once in all 12 months that year for the first time ever.

My wife and I were on our way north to do some stuff, and noticed a lot of people out at a course next to the highway that day. I audibly groaned in jealously, and she asked me if I wanted her to turn around so I could go play. Despite how much I wanted her to, I said no. Been regretting it ever since
I’m Im buying golf clubs to deal with the fact that I can’t play golf. I fucked around and bought two 3 woods this week. Looking for a 7 wood. Loser of the club test will be on TSR.
I feel like you have to be a league leader in the ratio of amount of golf clubs/equipment bought for tinkering vs actual golf played
I do like to tinker. Kids do take up a ton of time.
