Hey all, we are a little under a month away from the Findlay OATW major, don’t forget to signup or pay if you’re looking to join. Much smaller field this year than in years past!
Anyone gonna be on course when it goes dark today?
NEO folks. Looking for people who want to get matches in weekdays during the day. I’m officially on paternity leave starting Monday and need to get some matches in. 9 month old will likely be on the bag but he’s a big “show up. keep up. shut up” guy.
It’s started in Cincinnati. Maybe 15% so far. Wear glasses. Pro tip. It’s v bright.
edit. That was fun. It got cold out without the UVs.
That was really cool to witness. Glad I got to see it from my front yard.
Same. Had company over and just hanging out on the deck.
That was fucking awesome. So much cooler than I anticipated and I had fairly high expectations.
Yeah pretty breathtaking. Being able to look up and see Venus and Jupiter shining brightly in the mid day sky is really incredible. As was the near total silence, including almost no noise coming from I-75 for 3 minutes
I can’t describe how much I enjoyed that whole hour. It was great seeing every neighbor I have sitting outside in a 65 degree day just enjoying being there.
Couldn’t agree more. I thought it was all way overhyped but it ended up being awesome.
Played Heatherwoode today and it was the perfect place to see it all. Total eclipse happened as we teed off on 18.
Prior to this I would have never traveled for one. Now I would consider it for the next one.
God that photo is sick
the lights came on the Roebling Bridge and GABP during the darkest part; was a great break during a Monday work day!
I would have been on 18 green but looped back to play a few extra holes so was in 16 fairway instead.
I also got attacked by the same goose twice on 10 today. That SOB flew over 50 yards each time to come at me. I was even prepped with my 7 iron the second time and I still had to run into the woods.
I’d be willing to try to get something scheduled.
The birds were on edge with the eclipse today. They were getting all fired up around my house as it was happening.
May be on the outer limits of an easy drive for some of you, but why not?
I’ll be that guy and point out that I believe you mean Memorial Day, not Labor Day
