I’ve experienced this story before but we need to hit critical mass for attendees. Then we get a tentative date lined up and appoint chairguis. After that comes an actual event, with all the associated details.

I got a round in every month from March to November in MN last year. Randy impersonating tiger voice - Conditions were tough.
Seriously though, I’m assuming handicaps will be a part of this. I’ve never kept one, but I’ll keep the same attitude to ensure I have enough rounds to have a valid one by the time this happens.

I started using The Grint app towards the end of last year and liked that. It calculates a USGA compliant handicap. I’ll probably subscribe to get a legitimate one through them this year.
