Roll Call - MN contingent? (Part 1)

I was expecting someone to take the bait I was putting out here but didn’t realize I would be getting absolutely pummeled in return.

I guess it’s hard being a low handicap who got murdered in the championship match.

You’re a good sport man. Not many people would have such a great attitude about being bludgeoned to death in front of other people

Or the club match play tournament. Ha

I was just happy to be there!

I may be behind a few hundred posts but I grew up in Woodbury and to me, Prestwick, or Wedgewood as it was when I grew up there is vastly overrated. For the price it’s just meh. You could, and I did back in the day pay to play Keller 3 times, or anything else twice for what they charge.

Any hockey players in here? I’m sure the answer’s obvious, but I just got my skates sharpened and am eager to get out on the ice! There’s a public rink by my place that I’m pretty sure cleans the ice on Tuesday’s. It’d be fun to get some guys together to skate! Anyone? Quack?

I was just out tonight down in Farmington. Live in Apple Valley, but they do a crap job of taking care of the ice. I’m always up for a skate.

I haven’t skated in a few, but was planning to get back out on the ice this winter. I think my stuff is still dusty in my parent’s basement.

I was at the WBYC last year as well! I am hoping to play a few of these in the cities as well this year as I just found out about these last year. I don’t know how I have missed these in the past. I would love to check off a few more of the private courses in the metro.

Well, sounds like it’s time to dust em off!

I haven’t skated in a few years, but that would be pretty cool to get some guys together for a game.

Looking at getting some clubs for the upcoming season. I’m pretty set on the Mizuno 921 Tours but also want to try the Taylormade MCs and Titleist T100s, anyone with any reviews of those 3? I hit the T100 this year at Rush Creek and thought they were solid but wasn’t sold.

I’ve had the mizuno jpx 900s for a couple years and I absolutely love them. Feel incredible and I feel that it’s pretty easy to shape with those compared to other irons I’ve tried. Think those are a couple years behind what you’re considering though.

I am gaming the jpx 919 forged and can’t imagine playing anything different at this point. Have the ability to work the ball and feel soooo smooth

What @Billy_Baroo said. It’s the Year of the Blade, and never a better time to join a cult movement

Getting ready to go raid a 2nd Swing later this month

Currently stalking Tiger Nick’s eBay page waiting for the right set!

Oh don’t you and @Billy_Baroo worry. I’ve got three options to play with. A set of Wilson staff blades from 1976, another set of Wilson staff blades from 1992, and a set of Titleist 690 MBs. Is this “movement” also going to require only Nike golf shoes and drink phenorbital and vodka and then lie down on a golf course together somewhere to enter the alien spacecraft similar to what happened with the Heaven’s Gate “movement” led by Marshall Applewhite?

We did for a while, but we’ve come to our senses now.

We’re a very friendly, happy cult these days.

I’ve still go the Nikes though, if you want to get wild.
