Using unemployment checks to maintain access to an online golf forum?
Sound financial decisions are for 2021…maybe
Not in the least, fun track but a tier below Edinburgh imo
I tried to plan the (Not so frozen) Fourball at Victory but they kind of laughed at me when I asked if they were going to re-Open.
My uncle is a member at Stillwater CC & I am amazed how the no tee times works. But I can say from my experience it works great & played quite a few rounds this last summer where I got a text at 2pm to show up by 3:30pm to meet my uncle & his buddies. We were on the first tee within 30 minutes every time. I do think it is a lot of old timers & that course is actually pretty dang awesome. He has been telling me to buy a house in their zip code forever to get my name on the list. CC: @munihack7
You don’t need to be in the zip code to get on the waitlist anymore
Well shit - I may just have to throw my name on there.
Lol, and it ended up being 70 degrees that day right? You’re a genius.
$100 and you’re on, we may be able to join in 2024!
It did hahaha
I called them and Pioneer Creek on the same day and Pioneer was like yup, we will be open how many times do you need.
Done deal.
Hopefully I can actually play at 2021’s haha
This is the first year where I had played on Black Friday and in December.
Just pulled the trigger on the StoneCard!
We are building quite the crew at StoneRidge!
Well, looks like a meetup at StoneRidge is in order given the crew there now, jeez. How many is that now? 5?
Now we just need someone to pull the trigger on a membership, so they can book advance tee times for the rest of us!
I’ve played it once, I doubt I’ll be back. Some of the holes there are a huge WTF, it’d benefit from massive tree removal.
I like Edinburgh a lot more than most do, I think the greens are fantastic due to great contours, both subtle and bold. There are a lot of houses, but they don’t come into play at all. If someone just wants to smash driver on every hole, they probably won’t like Edinburgh.
As @Billy_Baroo mentioned, there will need to be a StoneRidge vs Rush Creek meet up this year. Seems like we have 5+ at each place now.
Agreed. Lot of forced carries.
Oh man, you didn’t see me play Edinburgh this year.
This may or may not have been the problem.
Where did you hit a house? Only time I’ve ever seen it happen is when someone gets mega aggressive on hole #4 tee shot and takes it over the twin homes. Front 9 only calls for 2 or 3 drivers if you are playing smart, back 9 you can get more aggressive.
@Camilo there is still time to add yourself to this list of StoneCard holders!
We could even do 36 in a day. Start at Stoneridge (cause I think their peak rate is cheaper), then head to Rush for Twilight.
@charvey how many guys have purchased? Is the deadline tonight.
