Roll Call: Minnesota Part 2 - SIM MEETUP post 9471

I think you’re forgetting that a noon tee time this time of year means chasing daylight

You make a point, and I will fight tooth and nail for:

  1. The last tee time
  2. An earlier morning shoot for that “good sunlight”

Assuming you’re shooting outside, your photographer is definitely going to suggest either like 9 AM or 3 PM

Or find a photographer who wants to do something fun, like take photos of you two at a cold weather golf event.

If anyone’s interested, I’ve got a 3pm tee time at Keller this Sunday. A couple spots available.

LIV golf on at Terminal 2. Something called ReachTV which seems appropriate.

Which one of you had the “man emerges from woods” experience at (I assume) Braemar?

I was listening this morning and was like “100% Braemar”

I was initially thinking Theodore Wirth, but he also labeled the facilities as “pretty nice” so that probably eliminates it.

Has to be @LonnieMollo, he seems to be the SGS advice guy. Not sure why he’d be playing Braemar though.

Not I! Although I feel honored to have gotten 2 questions through to them.

And I play Braemar “tons.” Has it been a year? Sure.

Wait which were the first 2??

  1. “Cool Guy” who I called the wrong name. (Maybe late Jan/early Feb)
  2. Member-guest partner broke his leg and I wasn’t sure how to tell him I replaced him. (Bacon was a guest host)

I KNEW COOL GUY WAS YOU SOMEHOW

It all makes sense now. @TBuhr33 was your original guest. RIP

I just remember Bacon’s response was being mortified that I didn’t keep my friend who broke his leg as my partner. And while I said in the email that I wasn’t competitive, that’s a half truth so in hindsight, having won our flight, I’m happy with my decision.

No room on this wagon for hungry mouths that can’t hunt. I like your style

Update on Somerset: the two holes are officially blown up which will complete the entire routing restoration when it is done.

Here’s a photo of some of the other work that I captured while I was out there earlier this year

What 2 holes were blown up, and what will the routing be in their place? I’m going to do some googling/mapping later to see if I can find an old aerial or something to see what it looked like pre-60s.
