Using bounce transformed my short game. Only took until I was 36.

Shot shape? I just hope it goes in the direction I’m aiming.

Offended that this poll is designed for right handed golfers. I expected better from you @kirkeide1

Move to the correct side of the ball then

I think my scouting report would go something like this…

Big frame and swings hard. Long off the tee but short game can be streaky. Has struggled since moving to Minnesota but starting to settle in after a nice +4 74 at craguns Dutch 18 accompanied by our very own @kcurry11. Has played well in NLU events this year with a 76 at Como and 78/77 at the North Star shootout. Scores in 2024 have ranged from a 98 in Ireland at royal portrush to a -4 68 at his former home course in Virginia. Clearly something wrong in the head for driving several hours from Brainerd to play with a bunch of other NLU sickos on a regular basis but that could be considered a plus or minus depending on your point of view.

Hopefully that was a scouting trip for @kcurry11 for the eventual event held up there next year.

I think it’s time to turn the tables.

@kirkeide1 which of the Frozen Fourballs was your favorite?

What’s your favorite hole at gross?

@BigTex what was your favorite hole at highland at last years event?

What driver is in the bag as we speak?

My favorite hole at Highland last year was 18, bombed a drive, stuffed the approach, and made the birdie to secure the epic comeback victory @otafukusauce and I had.

Current driver is Ai Smoke TD with a Ventus TR Black 8X :muscle:t3:

I wasn’t at the first one at Pio, but Highland was probably my fave. It’s just a really enjoyable place to be and for some reason I start to feel at peace as I walk down the 15-18 stretch.

3 is very handsome. I also like 5. The whole front 9 is pretty solid

Follow up questions for both @BigTex ans @kirkeide1

1.) what are the characteristics you’re looking for in your teams?

2.) what is your least favorite hole at Gross?

3.) hoodies or quarter zips?

1: grinders, positive vibes, good putters, guys who seem to be never out of a hole. Cooking more stuff on the Big Board that I cannot share. I was thinking about gathering the ā€œartistsā€ together because that’s who I identify with but there’s too many to count

2: 12-14 is stinky. There’s nothing ā€œbadā€ out there, just a couple uninspiring holes

3: hoodies all the way, but I may be wearing a mammoth dunes quarter snap

  1. I’m looking for good vibes, a lot of fun, but when push comes to shove, enjoys competition and won’t shy away from a shot or a moment. In the words of the great poet Ricky Bobby, ā€œIf you ain’t first, your last.ā€

  2. Hole 9. Just doesn’t set up well to my eye, but it’s a well designed hole so I do respect it as well.

  3. For golf, I love a Q-Zip, everywhere else, it’s a hoodie. But when the hood has a little heft to it and doesn’t move around a bunch, hoodies are elite

I have played with most of the guys signed up for this (I’ve been a sicko since 2019). Only a few of you I haven’t had the pleasure to get to know yet! Please share a summary of your golf game as well as your SSN. Thanks.
