Works for me!
As Iām sitting trying to get one of kids to sleep and Iām cackling at some post from @freesypop mid draft, I know I will have to explain myself at least once haha
FF5 Draft: Wednesday October 16th
I gotta post some more pollsā¦
Could always ask people to write some scouting reports
GIVE ME YOUR SCOUTING REPORTS NOW
My scouting report:
You know me, you know my game, there is a 90% chance I have a new putter in the bag by FFB
Iām a dog.
Also very positive and up beat/encouraging.
Like to talk through the process with my partner whenever possible. (You can confirm with a lot of people but @charvey and @a-double-u from an FF specific standpoint)
we may or may not have found something with the driver.
I am maybe THE Gross Stan.
You have any other question @kirkeide1 @BigTex
Wipey fades and wedge savant.
Plays well with others.
I will not be testing new equipment like @kcurry11
@bigtex what do we do to decide first pick? Most birdies at Troy? Donāt want to do a match if weāre playing in one at gross
I feel like your definition of a wipey fade is vastly different than other peopleās definition of a wipey fade
Love the wedge savant though
After seeing him at Sweetens, only Phil has saucier mitts than Mason
Ooooh I like that! Most birdies picks first on Wednesday
Once picks are in, there will be a date set for each Captain to announce their pairings (you will each set your teams and then announce the order at which they will go out) but it will be blind matches
Every time i play 13 at Landmand, Iāll think of Mason driving that green during the cornstalk.
Good match play player thanks to a handicap built off a couple triples a round. Lethal with the 9 wood. About half the swing speed of @BigTex
But just as fun to play a round with!
Played the best golf of my life from Labor Day until about two weeks ago. Have not touched a club since and thereās a chance I donāt until the FF.
Consider myself a good hang, wonāt get whiny, and like to talk through things with a partner.
I play blades, know almost nothing about my swing, and like range sessions. No clue where that puts me on the artist to gearhead scale.
Iām not elite off of the tee but rarely get myself in too much trouble either. Same can be said about my irons. Iāll scramble my ass off and consider my putting above average, which eventually mentally cracks my opponents.
My 1 recorded round at Gross in Grint is also a 77 with nothing worse than a bogey on the card. Iām primed for some fourball debauchery.
Iām gonna make 6 birds but shoot 88. Going pin hunting
