U of M is awesome! If you don’t want to go too far off the beaten path, Shepherds Hollow is pretty cool and just off 75 north of Detroit.

Hey FCF! Headed to Forest Dunes later this year and getting into Detroit 8am the day before we actually play. Is there a course on the way to FD we should stop and try to play on the way? We were thinking either that, or we just try to get up to FD and add another round in up there.

The Dream and the Nightmare are directly on the path from DTW to Forest Dunes. I haven’t personally played but have heard good things.

Drive over to Ann Arbor and try to play UofM or Wastenaw and then shoot up 23 and link up with 75, and head to FD. Ann Arbor is super close to the airport too.

If you took a detour through midland you could play buck’s run. I think it’s one of the more underrated non-destination courses in the state. Plus it has a putting course on an island, definitely a good time. And then you just continue across to Mount Pleasant, hit the casino and go straight north from there

Never got out to The Fortress yet, but hell if it isn’t one of the coolest names for a golf course of all time.

Hey Everyone. Just joined the refuge from Royal Oak. Trying to catch up on the message boards and get the lay of the land. Gonna try to make it to Max3 to meet some of you in person.
