Ahh makes sense. Just looked it up. A little pricey but looks like it would be fun and a sure way to play that place. I don’t live far from it but have zero way of getting in haha.

Yeah I’m not trying to be a Michigan Golf Live/Chamber of Commerce show. I want to feature courses all over the state, but I also want to tell stories. Courses get shine, and cool people doing cool shit also get shine.
I like a sub-series option, especially the UP. I’m trying to pitch a story right now involving Marquette, with Greywalls being an enticing first stop.

A cool angle in Marquette is what their superintendent has done to highlight and restore the Langford holes on the Heritage Course. He’s worked on reclaiming the original green pads and highlighting the L&M features. The actual green surfaces had shrunk a fair amount over the years. But Greywalls is pretty incredible.

Glad you and @jawnnypage enjoyed your rounds. Definitely a special place and fun to take people around who haven’t seen it much or at all before. Would love to do it again, but not sure I’ll get up again this year. Fingers crossed.

Anyone know of any other logo creators that I should look at?
I created a greatlakesloops IG account, can always change it later. I wanted a place for upcoming Meadowbrook and Franklin Hills pics, if I get any.

Just finished up at DGC about an hour ago. Course is extremely firm and greens were really tough to hold in some cases. Rough is long, especially around the greens, and I’d expect it to get longer as we get closer to the tournament. Heading back up to the GR area for Father’s Day weekend and am playing early on Father’s Day if anyone wants to join that’d be killer!
Looking to get out early on Saturday or Sunday in Grand Rapids. Thinking, Kaufman, The Mines or Thornapple Pointe. I’m probably going to need two. Let me know if anyone is interested.
I can’t do this weekend but I’d be interested in getting a GR outing together come July, maybe at the Meadows or Pilgrims? I moved here last year and have been chomping at the bit to make it out to those two

I’m a member of Kingsley as well. Any thoughts on an easy round within an hour of Kingsley- not Forest Dunes or Arcadia? Was thinking Belvedere?
