Casa Bonita isn’t going anywhere. The landlord would have to put in a multimillion dollar package to remodel it from its current state. It can literally be nothing else without a crazy amount of work. We’ll be cliff diving into the tank post Ross/Gil rejection at Lakewood…Or we can do anything else and not subject ourselves to the “cuisine” and “atmosphere”

Denver contingent 
Is anyone interested in doing a summer long matchplay? I’m game to set it up if there is real interest. Semi finals and Championship matches to be held at Homestead I’m thinking (open to ideas here). I’ll put it to a poll

9 holes or 18?
We can probably do a little of both. What I’ve been work shopping is we do 9 hole prelims for half the year, and this will end up seeding the ‘tournament’ which would be 18 hole matches. Prelims may be done at any course, then we do the tournament at one or two course depending on round. We’d keep all scheduling outside of the semi’s & final up to the pairing, we’d essentially just set deadlines.
I’m still working on how we would do the prelims, we can set up pools or do just random selections, I think it depends on how many players we have

Hmm. I’m probably a no, then, but I’ll keep an eye on what you decide to set up and see if I can make it work.
obviously we want the format that get’s us the most participation, open to any and all ideas
The thing that would work best for me would be a single elimination bracket of 9 hole matches, but I don’t think that’s what everybody else would want to do it.
I love the idea of a Denver area NLU match play, but I probably don’t have the time to participate.

I played in something similar when I lived in Cincinnati. 9 hole matches as pool play like the Dell match play. Top 4 go to 18 hole semi finals. Others can show up to play too or follow match or caddy.
