Homestead would be high on the list. Not sure on the rental situation.
Homestead, Fox Hollow are good options. Walnut Creek is great, but probably an hour from evergreen. Avoid the meadows.
ah awesome ok! both homestead and fox look SUPER nice, and both I think have rentals at like 25 bucks per which seems nice. I’ll throw those two out and see what BIL/Sister think

Hey Colorado friends. John here from Northern California. When some of you were out here you met one of ours from the Sierra foothills. Dylan is his name.
Reciprocally he came your way and connected with a few of you as well.
Sorry to bother. But long story short would truly appreciate u considering helping him out. Tough situation around the holiday.
Not tagging him as he’s not asking. I am. Anything helps. Truly appreciate you. Animal best friends are everything. Especially around the holidays…

Hey everyone - coming to Denver for work next week - and was hoping to play on Monday.
-
The temp looks like it will be fine (upper 50s). are courses in decent shape post-snow? Would it be worth it to try to play or would the time of year not really make sense? I’ve never played in the area before and would really like to if possible.
-
What public courses would you recommend? I will be staying downtown and don’t want more than a c. 25 minute drive.
Thanks!
It’s winter conditions. Meaning grass is dormant, you’ll have some areas that are sopping wet, others that are dry, etc. The conditions are playable, but don’t expect much. We’ve had a good amount of snow, so it’s possible that some courses won’t be open on Monday. You’ll have to keep an eye on that.
Public courses to recommend within 25 minutes of downtown: Commonground is best in class. We always recommend Homestead - it’s right on the edge of that 25 minutes, though. Otherwise, check out Wellshire or City Park. Willis Case is fine. Don’t bother with Broken Tee or Overland Park.
Great info. Thanks!
Yeah I heard snow was on the ground.
I am thinking of booking a time for Monday then calling re: conditions on Sunday to determine if worthwhile.
Id be optimistic for Monday, should get good melt rest of this week, so long as no major snow friday, monday should be good to go (especially CG/Homestead, they are usually the first two places to melt)
Commonground will be open tomorrow. Not sure about others. Unless we get a freak snow this weekend (not in the forecast), you should be good for Monday.
