Closest to me would be Dino’s on Higgins, old school tavern joint with a Fauld’s oven.
If I’m playing somewhere south though, rico’s pizza on my way back in Lansing IN is a must, revelatory even. Takeout/hood of car dining only.

Interest list for March Mudness III is live:
For those who are new here or unfamiliar with the event, March Mudness has become our unofficial start to “golf season”. It’ll be March 26 and kankakee elks cc.
typically our “process” is to sign up as interested, then sometime in January we’ll have everyone “recommit” with some cold hard cash to save your spot. Then you pay at the course that day.
the event is somewhat march madness themed (do you get it?). last year we had prizes and trophies and NIT spots awarded to the winner.
last year we had 70 golfers, i think we can get to 90 this year. it’s been a lot of fun (i think). i’m sure others will fill in whatever i may have missed or provide witty banter.
we can carry on with mudness matters here:
