Following up to say everyone sent it. Some aggressive and thought provoking lines with great results. I more or less was pin high on 17 green, as the architect intended.
I aimed for floppy, ended up with sloppy. A nice walk though.
This Thursday is the IJGA’s annual Golf Marathon. I was lucky enought to play all 100 holes last year with my buddy @brettdreier but had to backout this year due to Carona Exposure. I think Cantigny Youth links was happy to hear i backed out becasue of the amount of turf I uprooted on the tee boxes last year.
Doations will fund financial aid to junior golfers that have the desire to compete in IJGA events, but whose families do not have the financial resources to provide equipment, golf lessons, practice opportunities and/or tournament entry fees.
Played Preserve at Oak Meadows today. Blue tees were up, so I had a chance to drive the 4th green, and lo and behold I did (two putted for birdie). I love to keep my stats, but was confused since I hardly get the opportunity to drive the green on a par 4. What does it mean for my fairways hit stat? Does it count as a yes since basically I hit my target, or no since a fairway is a fairway. Here’s the poll:
- Counts as a fairway hit
- Counts as a fairway missed.

@EConroy419 as Roost captain can you please look into why it took 2 godforsaken hours to drive from O’Hare to downtown today.
Should have done the classic move of putting your blinkers on and riding the shoulder.
If you’re blinkers are on, it makes it perfectly legal and safe.

Well I guess that settles my dilemma. Thanks for the votes y’all.
Man, I feel like I rarely saw this the first few years I lived here. Now every time I’m in traffic it’s like the shoulder is a fourth lane.
Did we get an influx of Mass-holes? Believe its legal/accepted there.
In my younger days, in a cheaper vehicle, my door may have opened at times.
According to the redditors of the area, it all started getting really bad during that pandemic that we had.
Can confirm pandemic really set this trend off. I’ve debated buying some stop sticks for fun but decided against that.
What I don’t get is that until this year traffic was good. I was consistently home in 45 minutes unless there was crazy weather. Now I’m ready to hop in Gravedigger and roll onto the expressway
Welcome to my commute home from any round of golf in the burbs. I usually double my time to get there as my time to get home.
I’m playing Mt. Prospect at 1030 Saturday if anyone wants to join in a game of “oh shit I hope that fore call isn’t for me”. There’s a spot open online, $50 to walk.

Could it be worse than the group behind us at Oak Brook last weekend?

Deleting my post since I’ve learned of multiple temp tees, etc in prep of next year
We have one open spot for this Sunday at PrairieView in Byron. Come play some fall golf. We have two groups starting at 10.
