Roll Call “Chicago” (Part 2)

What’s even more confusing is I think on one of the combo tees, they only use one of the shorter tees per nine. What are we even doing?

Once I saw the Mark Stone picture I knew exactly who had posted this.

I watched a YouTube video about Basic Instinct earlier today. Sharon was more fresh on my mind than Emma when trying to think of notable Stones.

Would The Rolling Stones count?

Highlands of Elgin was aerated on Tuesday of this past week. Can anyone report on Mt. Prospect, Shepherds Crook, or any of the other usual suspects?

I’d also like to nominate Sylvester.

Also Stone Gossard.

Nominations that most certainly confirm I’m an elder millennial

A map of golf courses from the Chicago Tribune in 1920. Note the civic Chicago pride vs NYC: “Father Dearborn leads Father Knickerbocker”

Father Dearborn leads Father Knickerbocker in number of public courses

This is nuts considering there’s like 5 public courses on this map at that time

Would like to know more on Wheaton Golf Club. Arrowhead is south of Chicago GC. VL is closer to Glen Oak.

My family moved from the city to that subdivision back then. Guess I can ask there and report back.
