Hey All,
Just curious if anyone is on gspro or e6 golf simulator software and want to do some screen golf league this winter? Happy to host something in the garage as well if you are near the crystal lake area.

Anybody want to play Marovitz on Monday at 10?
Well it’s the closest course to where I’m moving so I’ll for sure play it this year at some point. I’ll let you guys know what I think. My buddy made a ranking of all the golf courses he’s played in his 3 years of golfing and it’s mostly Chicago area. Might be entertaining to some of you.

Agreed. Really fun read since I’ve played like 98% of these.
" Holes you will never remember" is such a great description for Fresh Meadow.
Not to mention Dubsdread and Warren Golf Course. And is that Settler’s pre reno??
The course right under that is what really stood out to me.

apropos of nothing, I had the worst golf experience of my life at fresh meadows when I first moved to chicago, what a bad place

I had a “disagreement” with the range manager Tony and ended emailing back and forth with the head instructor Jake. Tony was a rude idiot.
I also was a regular for years.

fresh meadow is just stupid. it’s not even entertaining crazy like a muni in the city where yah it’s boring but at least you see people with their shirts off walking on the course or some guy steals your ball and tries to sell it back to you.
and post reno Settlers. I love it so much.

I’m happy to see Black is where it belongs as a top 100 golf course.
Waveland at 60 is a credibility killer.
Saved it with Elks at 10.

43. Canal Shores Evanston, IL - The most unique course on here. The layout is dull and tight, but you are truly in the middle of a city neighborhood.
you should try playing this one backwards for extra uniqueness
