Thanks for all the recs on wife an I’s trip to Chicago last week. Went to United Center back-to-back nights … sorry for the bad luck it brought the BlackHawks and Bulls.
Original Pancake House being right across the street from hotel lobby was an absolute problem. We skipped eating lunch because of it … twice. We walked to the Lou Malnati’s a few blocks down. I thought it was very solid deep dish. Hit a couple of the bars mentioned and also tried Velvet Taco for dinner one night. All together it was a nice relaxing trip. Appreciate yall’s help.

I believe we are competing for a spot at Roost regionals at MP but not Ravisloe, so if that’s important to you maybe MP…I could be wrong about that tho just going off memory.
You are correct. Low net MP gets a spot on the Roost team, Ravisloe is purely for fun/finally having an event out there.
but I’m going to need you #dialed this weekend, because you know what’s fun? Winning. Then again I suck at golf, so what do I know about winning.
Non-golf related, but I have two tickets for Wilco’s 20th Anniversary Yankee Hotel Foxtrot show at the Auditorium Theatre Friday, 4/22. Dress Circle KK-301 and KK-302. Basically last row on the main floor. $200 for the pair (face value).

Hey everyone, brand new to this forum and there’s obviously a lot of stuff going on here. Stupid question as I know there’s a “Events” thread but what’s the easiest way to see local events / outings? I’ve been on here for a bit and I’m more confused than when I first logged on.

Oh man, that’s a difficult question… I live in Lemont so my local pizza place in town is Turnabout Pizza. Back when I lived in the city it was always Pequod’s. This will disappoint you though, not a big drinker so I’ll have to pass on the domestic beer question.
