I think it’s been closed since fall of '19 - something about the dome was no longer insurable. But following if somebody knows otherwise!
Next best I’ve found for our area is BG dome.
Buffalo Grove?
The other one is in Bolingbrook (Mistwood something) and I’m not a huge fan of it. They attached it to this bar and grill its more of a social gathering place than a place to actually practice. BG is way better value for what I want to get out of dome golf ($25 for an hour vs $40).
I can only do simulator golf to an extent, need to see the ball flying (even if it’s only 80 yards)
I been hitting balls outside at golf center and find it’s totally fine. Balls are cheaper on Mondays & Thursdays, excluding holidays. So yesterday was full freight in honor of President’s Day.
The heaters at Golf Center are legit, you could definitely get the rust off during March.
Links and Tees is still open and they actually added Top Tracer to some of their bays for 36/hr. a little better than buffalo grove imo.
46 degrees March 2.
No spring and right in to summer?
From your lips to gods ears
MUDNESS ACTION ITEM: time to get the indexes put in.
Does next Friday look…playable?
Any insight into courses that might be open? Seeing stuff at Jackson park but not many others.
Ahh the first feeler for actual play of the year. Such a beautiful sight.
Waveland will be also? Probs all the park district?
I think you’ll see more next week if the weather actually holds.
St. Andrews and Indian Boundary will be open if there’s no snow on the ground. I’ve played at Seven Bridges in March a bunch of times.
I’ll be referring to this in the coming weeks.
The question is how many people just looked up the weather for friday… cause I did
Bartlett Hills will open as well. Played there in January back in 2015
60 next Wednesday, is it time to light the beacons???
But, but why?
