I think a guy I used to caddy for was a guy out there for a while…
But now he’s in San Francisco
Bet you never saw him double doink a shot
I’m newish to the refuge, but would love to be part of this, weather and schedule permitting. Maybe a morning round, and then, COVID permitting, sit down and watch some March Madness or 1st/2nd round of the '21 Masters?
Robbie was honestly the easiest loop of all time.
Just had to give him yardages, wind direction, and the last thing I would always say after backing away was “let’s make a good swing here”. Only thing he needed on the greens was a simple “yep” or “nope” whenever he would ask about a line.
Won a few events together, and he often played with Brad Maynard (Bears punter at the time) and Patrick Mannelly which was a delightful group to be with.
…the guy could also kick the shit out of a football lol
I work at one of the hospitals in the area and the data released today (11/13) for the system shows that numbers are the same as March/April and increasing. It’s going to be a long winter, be safe and careful
What are you doing on the Chicago thread, Peoria Gui?
Let the record reflect Kevin was there, too. I just didn’t feel obliged to mention you by name since you hadn’t spurned three threads and thousands of comments in the past 72 hours haha.
I often lurk here, seeing as we’re geographical neighbors. I try to avoid going north of I-80 unless it’s for golf, so hoping to get some rounds in with the Chicago contingent next year.
We’re all on that police report and will be called to the stand as witnesses at the inevitable Refuge trial for this one.
Maybe we can have an I-80 battle between the north and the south at the Sanctuary Golf Course in New Lenox.
My home course
Very underrated course. Love everything about. The tips there have some pretty wild tee shots though. Especially the one on 9.
This… My past couple days have been shoring up telehealth further for a shift next week. And flipping units back to temp ICUs like in spring.
Get the swings in when you all can - I hope we don’t pull back that much again, but won’t be shocked if Marovitz gets shut down before my tee. Hopefully Lori isn’t aware of sickos playing with temps in the 40s.
The skank!
Trying to remember if I should know what this means
probably not, went to providence right down the road, everyone there called sanctuary the skank.
you really had me racking my brain there. Trying to remeber certain cart girls and such… no offense to ANYONE
…or we can come to you to play Lick. I miss the place!
I will say that we are currently hard at work on a proposal for the powers that be for a Strapped Peoria: Redux NIT qualifier for 2021.
So you very well may get your chance to come down and play our notorious track with a little bit on the line while doing so.
Sweet! Can’t wait!
Chicago Refugees - you gotta go play Lick Creek.
