Recycled Big Island advice: Makani (formerly Big Island Country Club) is upcountry and a nice change from the beach courses. I worked at Hapuna for many years ans would always play it again! Forget the Waikoloa Beach and Kings courses. Mauna Kea always nice but $$$$. The Waikoloa Village course is just fine. I lived there and played it a lot. The Kona Country Club is also a decent choice.
