Not a local but make it out to Brussels for work a few times a year
played, Royal Hague, and drove out to Limburg, both of which were delightful.

I live in Amsterdam and play at Golfclub Olympus, at De Hogedijk close to the center. Also, part of an International Society that tries to play away days throughout the year.

As the continental representatives of the NLU roost RACDG GB&I, we are hosting a first EUropean meet-up this year! Main thread is:
The event will be hosted in and around Luxembourg, from September 2-4. At least one round will be played at Kikuoka Golf Club, where we will be hosted by one of our RACDG brethren. Kikuoka has a Mercure hotel and spa at the club, making accommodation easy. https://www.kikuoka.lu/
Other playing locations still tbd, but will be within easy driving distance.

I am currently exploring a potential expat assignment in Brussels and could relocate as soon as this winter. Does anyone have any comments on the golf scene around Brussels? I would likely live towards the south end of Brussels (Uccle, Boitsfort, Waterloo areas). Royal Waterloo Golf Club looks nice from what I can tell online. Would love any thoughts anyone has about golf in the area, or any of the neighborhoods in general.
