I’m from Modesto. I just barge in on the Bay Area thread.
Welcome, @anon47037505. Looking forward to the day. Should be a great time. Glad you’ll be joining us.
Excited to meet you!
Likewise.
Gents, meet our fourth partner.
New to The Refuge as of yesterday.
Please welcome @nickg43
Hey @nickg43!!
Without ruining your anonymity too much tell us a bit about yourself.
Also, if you’d like to add your name to the NorCal chapter of the Royal & Ancient Company of Dishonourable Golfers, here ya go.
@nickg43 is a Midwest gui. He’s my “plus 1” for the Caddie with Hermie day and will be along for the trip.
You’ll meet him early Monday morning at Pac Grove. Likely coffee in one hand, Bloody Mary in the other. Proper pre-round morning nourishment.
2:1 odds we see a tour player at PG Monday.
Lost looking for Cypress?
Trying to avoid the hustle and bustle of the Pebble/Spyglass/MPCC mess next week. With all the attention PG has gotten the last year I bet some guys who’ve never been here will want to hit it up.
I enjoy playing in breezy conditions.
With a full flask. Or two.
A few things about me: My favorite fruit is apple, favorite vegetable is tomato, have survived multiple hurricanes, now reside in IA
Tomato is a fruit you psychopath.
Welcome to the board.
Shoutout Kepler’s in Walnut Creek - full story linked…they are super nice, chill, low pressure, fun etc etc. check em out for club work, fitting, etc.

SF Club is closed to members on Mondays…for caddies, cops, and firefighters, well that’s another story
Played Crystal Springs in Burlingame today. Course layout was cool, what wasn’t cool was that half the greens were ground under repair and they failed to mention that when we checked in. I’ve never seen my footprint fully formed in a green until today (8x) - still had a blast but wanted to warn, course needs a few weeks of drying out. Elevations were phenomenal though, as was the wild life.
