Good answer!

Only caveat is I’ve never officially caddied.

Keep my towels dry and keep and eye on my balls when they land. You’re hired.

How soaked was it today?

Plugged lies on 75% of fairways.

That place is…man such a shame. Hope someday someone gets to restore it. Like some drainage and green rehab would be a start. But prob much much more.

We are going to have an impeccable attitude for 18 holes. The course is what it is. We all gotta play.

Oh no doubt. :100:

Looking at grabbing a late morning tee time (10:50, 11, 11:10) for Corica next Sunday, anybody interested in joining me for a round?

Yup, I bit the bullet. May 26th 7:30 AM tee time. Any refugess who want to join in I’d be delighted.

That would be sick. Plan is to play Harding (depending on the conditions) or Presido on Sunday May 24th. Both are closish to where I am staying near Tenderloin/ Nob Hill area.

I played Lincoln Park yesterday as a practice rd for the SF CITY. Typical Lincoln…super shaggy fairways, plugged lies everywhere and slow greens. Can’t imagine how it looks today after the rain hit.

Popped over to State Apparel afterwards and hopped on their trackman for a bit and chatted with the owner, Jason. Great store, great products and I love their Save Sharp Park connection. Good thing is I get to go back next week because I left my 5 iron!

Also, there is a Mexican food spot directly across the street from State Apparel and holllyyyyyyyy shitttttttttt the steak quesadilla was life changing. That’s my food recommendation for today.

I am constantly aghast at what Lincoln Park is - and as @GremlinGolfer says, the course is what it is, but I feel like someone taking an approach to it like a Common Ground in Denver or otherwise, where kids could play free or cheap, where there was even a caddying program, etc. … they could justify a decent but not crazy greens fees for non-city residents and it would be a true GEM. Right now, it’s so much of “wow, this place could be so special…
