I helped manage the USF Dons fundraiser at Olympic end of April. End of day I snuck onto the Lake per usual… guy there taking photos… turns out he’s USGA’s guy coming in advance of the Amateur. Says casually he’s going to Northwood on his own dime to photo it for a feature. I told him look for every single bump and low spot, use to be a bunker. So pretty sure he was there photographing while the kid was making the new one on 6. Super weird timing.

Moving back to the Bay Area next month. Settled on Benicia. Maybe / hopefully going the C suite route and joining a club (in between Berkeley, Richmond and Green Valley) but looking forward to reconnecting with some of you from back in the early days of this roost. Will look to participate in some of the events when I can as well. Pumped to be back!

Hello Bay Area gang. Very last minute but I’ll be flying into San Jose for work on Sunday, landing around 2pm if all goes well. Coming in straight from a road trip to AL and ofc I didn’t bring my travel bag for the clubs down here, so can’t bring the sticks on the flight. If anyone has both a spare set of clubs and the inclination to play an afternoon round around San Jose on Sunday, lmk and I’ll be very glad to cover the greens fee

Bumping this to add that I am coming to the bay area for a work event at TPC Harding Park on Saturday, June 29th, and that event was cancelled BUT I still have a tee time. I think it’s in the neighborhood of 10:30am and the greens fee is in the $80-$90 range. Anyone want to join me as I’m still coming and still want to play.
