Bat signal activated!
Might have to rouse the lads for a morning round at Bodega if this is going down.

I’ll be playing in a tourney at corica that weekend but would love to see this happen!
Ahhhh you’re playing for the commuter cup! Love to see it!
Sonoma county sicko party of one! Would love to join in any festivities
What up Dan!
What time are you playing Northwood? It’s about an hour and a half from my place I’ll do what I can o make it.
Shooting for a 1:30 tee time. Don’t have it booked yet as the shop wasn’t willing to accommodate, said we have to wait until the online booking window.
I don’t think you’ll have much issue. That place doesn’t fill early up like courses down in the Bay Area do.
I guess, if you’ve got a lot of drivers it’s doable, but you’ve got almost 13 hours of driving on Saturday. Plus playing 9.
Playing 18*
We’re young and dumb
Neighbor turned me on to golfmoose.com, which has discounted golf rounds with certain courses, nothing remarkable. However, they do have deals with less desirable private clubs from time to time. So I’m playing Petaluma CC on April 18th in a 18 hole (playing 9 twice) shotgun event hosted by Golf Moose. Excited to check out the localish 9 hole. If anyone is interested there are two spots left.
I can’t make it, but would definitely recommend. It’s up on the top of a hill with lots of elevation changes and some interesting holes. Members talked about how it might be a white label Mackenzie and some of the greens definitely have that feel. Alt tee boxes help mix it up on second play-through.
I will say we had 30-45 mph winds when we played last April and apparently that’s typical for the season. A few gusts nearly knocked over my grandpa. He had a good time but explicitly will not go back.
Awesome, that’s really exciting to hear, thank you. I grew up in the south bay and have lived in the north bay for only a few years and I didn’t know the course existed until a year ago and have been curious about ever since.
I live west Fairfax and golf it pretty hard to come by over here. I was thinking given the price point, this course could be an option for me, even though it is 40 mins away. It is a beautiful 40 min drive if I come from the backroads.
Really missing the nice weather y’all are having. I played this weekend in Michigan for my club golf team (college) and it was 40 and windy the whole time
We take it for granted…so lucky we can golf year round
I just recently learned you can’t post scores from mid-November - April 1st in Michigan. Wack
Yes, this is a phenomenon in Midwestern and Eastern states known as “the off-season.”
Aw man bummer about San Geronimo huh? My MIL lives in Fairfax and I’d totally want to move there at some point but only if I can somehow get into Meadow Club
Yeah I only played SGVGC once, the last month it was open. It would have been amazing if that course was still here. The politics behind how it got closed down is slightly infuriating.
Yes on Meadow Club. I debate trying to find a way to get on the wait list as maybe, just maybe, I’ll have the coin to join in 15 years. For now, I’d love to just play it once.
