Roll Call: Atlanta - Campout 3/15 - Stankonia 6/7

I’m job hunting a little here or there…I’ve been in sales 11 years, 3 of those I spent in a managerial role. If anyone has any info on good companies to work for or know of any open positions, let me know.

Current job is going through a transition to an IPO early next year and while I’ll probably stay around to see what happens, I’m very much looking at other options.

North of Atlanta would be most ideal. Thank you all!!

Edit…Savannah could be a draw for us too as we have several friends there and in Charleston.

Any suggestions for someone good to take lessons from? Live in Augusta but willing to drive over. Gotten myself from a 15 to an 8 on my own but lessons are probably what I need to continue progressing

Bill Hassell at Marietta CC. A lot of us use him.

My son is playing in a PG event July 6-13. No schedule yet, but it will be 1 game per day. I’m looking to get out and play once or twice while I’m there if anybody is interested.

Should be a fun week for you all! Just a little hot and steamy. Looks like you all are playing at out of East Cobb. Cobblestone is a great course nearby. I might be able to do something on the 7th or 8th. We’ve got a big event the 15th out at UGA. That might limit how much people play. There’s a bunch of young bucks in town who play regularly in the afternoons too and a few guys who seem to work very little and play alot of weekday mornings.

Thanks for the response. I’ll check back in here once I have the schedule.

Unfortunately, the game schedule doesn’t look conducive to morning golf. 8am games on 7/6 and 7/9. Those are probably my best days to try to get out and play in the afternoon/evening if anyone is interested.

I am going to be in Atlanta this weekend and would love to get some recs for the best brewery these days. Used to go to Sweetwater back when it was small but looking for something that would be kid friendly and has good IPAs.

Where in ATL?

Going to the Braves game Friday night then the aquarium Saturday morning. So anywhere from the aquarium to leaving the city going 85N.

There will be 40-60 refugees at South Main Brewing near Athens on Saturday afternoon.

I’d make a stop at Monday night Brewing. about 10 mins from the aquarium.

Dr. Scofflaw’s at The Works… kid friendly and within the confines of a food hall. It’s got a little green space for kids to run around in.

I’ll second Monday Night, always enjoy my trips there. New Realm and Steady Hand both have some pretty nice outdoor spaces from what I remember.
