Hi all. Dropping by to catch up after spending last week abroad. Looking forward to the FarmLinks meet up. Had to hit Paris with a little NLU long sleeve t-shirt ambush marketing last Wednesday.

Nice! I’ve been eye balling that shirt for a few weeks now at the Pro Shop. Does it have a tighter cuff around the wrist area like a traditional cotton long sleeve T- shirt or is it loose fitting around the wrists?
Kind of in between. Definitely not tight but keeps a good shape too and will stay up if you push it up your forearm. I’m very happy with mine.
I plan on calling Farm Links tomorrow to give them a final head count on who will be playing next Saturday.

I just called Farm Links and gave them a heads up that we would be using 2 of the 4 tee times. We’re keeping the 11:30 am and 11:40 am tee times.
I will most likely arrive to Farm Links around 9:30 to eat breakfast at Old Tom’s Pub then hit range balls before teeing off. Feel free to arrive early and grab a bite to eat.

Guys I’m very sorry, both to have to miss the event and for any logistical issues this will cause, but I have had a family scheduling conflict arise that will force me to miss the FarmLinks meetup on Saturday. I’m bummed; there are few places in the state more beautiful for fall golf and you guys are great company. I’ll do my best to make the next one.

Good to hear! The weather was ominous looking at Bent Brook in August but we only saw a slight drizzle when the forecast called for a 60% chance of rain.

I’m forward to tomorrow guys! I’ll be at Farm Links around 9:30ish to eat some food at Old Toms Pub in the Inn, then hit some balls at the range, then tee off.
The tee times are 11:30am and 11:40am and are under my last name- Flatau. The pro shop is the cabin past the Inn.

How’d it go? Everyone have fun and break the course record?
It was very fun. The weather was overcast and misty but the course held up well.
Course records were not broken but a match was played on the back 9.
Me and Jim_Sand took on mbrittan88 and jtmease and pulled out a victory.
Looking forward to doing something again with everyone in the future.

It’s a wide, forgiving ball park. I hit 70% on driving accuracy but still didn’t break 90 which was disappointing. It’s a 2nd shot golf course in my opinion and with the big greens, club selection matters a lot.
I really loved the course though and it was great to meet and welcome in @jtmease

The First Tee is trying to restart a chapter in BHM and is in the process of identifying potential board members and volunteers. The chapter is not active yet, but will be in the next year or so.
If anyone has any interest in being a board member, or volunteering, please message me your e-mail address and phone number. From there I can send your contact info to the Director of Chapter Relations at the First Tee’s main in Jacksonville, FL and get him to contact you directly about more details on how you can support the First Tee of BHM. I can also send you his contact details as well.
