This might actually be the healthiest food item you’ve taken a picture of this week.

Decided to say fuck it and threw my name on the waitlist to get us to an even 100 on the sheet so far. I have no hopes of actually making the cut but we all know how these things go.

You only need 40 to drop, which this early isn’t that crazy of a concept

You’re probably semi safe to assume you’re in. There’s also always the possibility of seeing where numbers are at as we get closer and payments have to start being made and I can see if we can add times when and if that becomes a need.

Is the long play for us to open up a pizza place in green lake now so we have a place to order pizza from next summer?

I’ve considered this serval times now. Outside of Christianos there really isn’t any pizza options up there and anybody who does pizza won’t do it on Fridays anymore because of fish fry.

And the goose blind kitchen closes at 9…which, is a major

“Guys, what the fuck”

For a place that sells that much alcohol.

There’s a ton of places that shut down the kitchen around 9 up there. Some move to just fryers until 10:30-11, but that’s few and far between.

Talking to the bar owners I’ve gotten to know in the area, it’s just impossible to predict how many people will show up any given day so keeping things open is hard to justify for them. Winter is actually a better time of year for most.

Respectfully, I ain’t coming to WI for the pizza

No, you come for the golf, generally friendly folk, and beer and then can’t leave because you’ve eaten your weight in cheese in the summer or your car won’t start in the winter.

There’s always Pizza from Kwik Trip in town :joy:

I did drive every morning to get coffee and a breakfast sandwich during Ope 1 before my AM rounds, ‘‘twas a great way to start my day

Kwik Trip is one of our not well kept secrets on the fast food scene. Is it great? No, but it’s also always good, generally always available, and cheap enough to forgive any of the shortcomings.

Perfect…no notes

This is why any self-respecting bar owner simply keeps a pizza oven behind the bar and a freezer stocked with Heggies
