Alright, now weāre getting somewhere.
Should probably cross-post in the Conspiracy Theories thread, but I wonder to what extent all the unanswered questions about the Solarwinds hack play into this. Seriously. Itās gargantuan fundamental things in our digital world that I think the Russians are trying to accomplish, like āweāll degrade O365 and Webex and Zoom performance so Americansā quality of life sucks a little bit more in 2020ā and āweāll screw up 5% of the deliveries during the Holidays to add just a bit of frustration to their livesā and āwatch 5% of filed tax returns in April show as ānot submittedā so their country has to deal with audits and stress and they wonāt see what weāre doing with our left handā ā¦ Playing the long game. Death by 1,000 cuts kind of stuff.
And at the end of the day, Refuge Secret Santa suffers ā this aggression will not stand, man!
It could be as simple as this: thereās a 100,000 truck driver shortage in the US. What if we simply donāt have enough truck drivers to transport all the goods during peak times.
This is, without question, the issue. it just felt good to bitch a bit upthread.
I have zero issues with the fact that things get lost and/or delayed, thatās just what happens sometimes. The actual people doing the deliveries arenāt intentionally doing it and are busting their asses to make sure that every one of the packages finds itās destination as quickly as it can.
I did not need this in my life, today.
10/10 good doggos.
You ever have that feeling where you discover a bunch of posts made by your SS recipient whose profile is maybe or maybe not on private so they were particularly hard to stalk, and then learn about all kinds of other great gift ideas for him or her that itās now too late to buii? Asking for a friend.
Alright, alright, alright!
The nice UPS told machine told me weāre in transit and this morning we were passing through Jā¦
Wait a minuteā¦yāall almost got me right there!
Cheeky monkeys!
Final piece just received. Note written. Walking over to the post office after my 1pm call to put it in the mail. Itāll be in Godās hands soon.
We should really have a FedEx Cup style leaderboard thatās just tracking expected vs actual shipping times.
Sponsored by UPS, of course.
Holy shit. USPS sent a Christmas card back to us cause they processed the return addressā¦ not the side with the stamp and address on it.
Iām trusting them to get my package? Iām sorry giftee
projected
