I was down at Dornick Hills Saturday, beautiful day. Course is starting to green up, should be in for a treat in later April.

Info drop tomorrow, but would like to post a poll.
this will be a handicapped event.

Hello RRRRallies,

As promised, an update on the days’ events.

The Charity : The Ardmore Family YMCA, doing great things for the youth.

The Pairings Party :

We’d like to propose a virtual event Tuesday, April 20th. By Zoom or otherwise.
Pairings, Tee Sheet, Weather Forecast, General info, Banter.

The R4 Ball :

Optional meetup the night prior.
On Friday, Dornick is hosting an event, including the Ardmore Chabmer of Commerce, they have morning and afternoon shotgun starts. The club grill and bar may be BUMPING.
We will effort lights on the putting green for night putting.

The R4:

Carts/Range Included
First tee time 0930am.
Meet at the first tee ~0920am for announcements.

Format : Holes 1-6 scramble, 7-12 modified alt shot, 13-18 best ball of the pair.
Handicapping : simple 35% of combined handicap. I.e. A 5.0 plays with a 15.0 = 20x0.35=7.0.
State Team Winner : net overall to par result.
NIT Spot : we have one NIT spot. net winning pair will work in conjunction with event organizers to award the NIT Spot.

Food, is still to be determined.

Deadline to pay is 09-April!

Course layout:
R4 Tee Markers will guide.
We will play from Black/Gold tees except for the following:
#4 - about White tee yardage.
#7 - Blue tee yardage. UP, Reachable par4
#14 - Red tee yardage. UP, Reachable par4. (shoutout @therealmarkymark )

Overall, Course will play ~6200ydrs

Course Games:
CTTH #4
Long Drive #13(long par 4), fairway only.
CTTH #17

We encourage gambling, side bets. We ask that a portion of any winnings funnel into the YMCA donation fund.

Pairings:

Pending the results of the poll.
Each pairing will be named after a prominent OK or TX figure.
Please see the Rosters tab of the event sheet for some ideas I have posted.

Please submit, by DM to me, how you want to be introduced on the 1st tee. Name/School/Home, random accolade. Nothing needs to be factual.

Speaking of… those of you who are photography inclined, feel free to bring your cameras, go-pros, drones, etc. Would be fantastic to have some high quality shots to relive the event.

Hotel booked. Childcare arranged. Fingers crossed on Friday work schedule to get up there at a decent hour.
