After listening to the Live from Pinehurst Pod, it sure sounded like Jim Wagner knew a lot about what goes on here. Is he a Refuge member? If not publicly, he must have burner that he’s lurking with. Sounds like a great dude and was probably a hell of a good time to hang with.

@Double_Bogey_Dave and I played #4 with him for 12 holes until he had to punch out to catch a flight.
He is one very busy dude so I doubt he is on here as a burner. He is a Philly guy that is refreshingly blunt and as down to earth as they come.

Strong interviewing skills by @Soly. I’ve been super impressed with him as an interviewer, he seems to always ask the tough/controversial questions and doesn’t give anyone a pass, but at the same time it doesn’t force the issued and come off adversarial at all.

The noticeable audio cut after that to the next question made me go “Aww he edited that? Damn it.”
Give me a break, Jim Wagner is certainly not a Refugee and would probably be hated by many of the particularly “woke” members of this board if they knew him long enough. Listening to the podcast you can tell he’s a funny, unfiltered, politically incorrect guy. Sounds like a great guy to play with but over time people like @BillyWalters and @swade and @The_Cad_Says and others would despise his frequent breaches of the holy doctrine of political correctness and would try to get him #cancelled.
That’s how it would play out.

Give me a fucking break. There were people that played #2 and #4 with him. I spoke to him at length about Philadelphia golf and the fact that we are going to play Merion East together. But from a podcast you have it all figured out? Trust me, you don’t.
