The update today added even faster and firmer conditions! The impossible challenge might actually be impossible now if they stick to the actual hardest conditions.

Nice! I suppose they had to for the links courses to play properly, glad I have been holding out on the Refuge Tour schedule pending Season 2 launching. Gonna get some conditions dialed up.

I had three straight matches where as soon as my team went dormie one of the opponents quit. Also completed the Wednesday equip and earn for Mizuno and didnāt get rewards.
Thatās the only reason I played. We took them dormie in straight holes and they proceeded to hit drivers off the green 3 times

This seems to be an issue with quest rewards since the beginning of the game, I recommend submitting a support ticket to 2K to see if they can get it loaded into your account.
Wide spread reports on TGC discord that partial shots are WAY harder post patch. And justā¦ everything is way harder.
So dont be shocked if this week is harder X2 between set up and the new patch.

Can confirm it is, much more touch required which is why Iām glad I did all my rounds before they placed the update lol

MP Playlists and Matchmaking, along with Ranked Tours just go 13 new User Made courses added, so they will be slightly less repetitive if you want to play those to grind up your much needed VC.

On one hand I do think partial shots were a bit too easy to hit perfect on the power. On the other, itās a video game and should be fun. Hopefully they still have struck that balance between challenge and fun for Pro difficulty and up.
Andrew Waterman officially made his first cut on Elite so with the changes weāre looking to see him tumble down the leaderboard again. But at least the one demo mark is cleared!

I do like the changes to pitch shots not rolling out crazy far (much harder to shortside yourself) but I also feel as though the rhythm in putting has gotten much harder and the starting power for putts is not very accurate.
Outside of that canāt complain too much, just wish 2K wasnāt such greedy slimmy bastards with the extra evo tool bs

I havenāt had time to play since the patch until now, so diving in. The chip/pitch shot changes are great, I think the ball physics are quite realistic with the amount of check you get on the first couple bounces with a high lofted club. Extremely firm St Andrews is very fun, the greens could be firmer or less grabby with spin, but overall the addition is pretty good. Looking forward to seeing some proper links courses coming out of the design community.
For course setup for quick play or society events, this is such a welcome change on the menu. No more flipping back to the course info and needing a screenshot to know what the default is

hey guys! Whatād I miss?
Finally upgraded to a PS5 and 2K25 a few days ago. Needless to say, I was grossly underprepared to play this event. At the same time, it was great to be back in it.
Put me down for a +10 and WD for this event. Iām gonna go mow some lawns or sell used golf balls for some extra VC. Iāll be back once I figure out all this new stuff.

Welcome back! Getting your player leveled up and with club fittings/evo really helps, itās just painful to get all the way to 99. Society rounds pay out the best per hole, but there are lots of quest rewards to be had in career mode for VC and XP.

Iām gonna dive into the rabbit hole of the videos others have posted. There are a lot of variables in this version that I donāt understand.
Itās kinda nice to rebuild though, after having been maxed out on everything in 2K23.
