I am a bit disappointed there is no game setting for how penal the rough is, it’s just a dice roll when in the high rough for the lie you get. I’d be aiming for “go fuck yourself” levels of bad lies
Go forth and conquer. Dumb game won’t allow weather or time of day changes on default courses but the wind should reflect the real life forecast relatively closely.

Also I am dumb and just realized the game might end the event Sunday at 8pm ET. If it does then go ahead and dial up the settings on your own if you need to finish a couple rounds, I’ll finalize scores on Monday morning like I normally do.

@Jeff_M I seemed to have not input my scores from the week 10 tournament. I can retroactively put them in or leave it be…I don’t want to f up your already awesome spreadsheet formulas and hard work.
For reference they were: +2, -1, -9 for a total of -8
which I think puts me next to last so not affecting any points per se. Let me know if you want me to add it and I will otherwise I’ll leave it be. My apologies I thought I had entered them.
You owe me an apology too, @lostinspace! I bought that wired controller like you suggested, and it has exposed me as an even worse player than I was!

Pro tip: don’t play when you’re running on like 3 hours of sleep. Mt rhumb slipped off the thumbstick multiple times in my first round from pure laziness.

I had around 200 when I logged in, played a two day tournament in my career, tied for like 3rd and ended up around 500 ish. Just short of the blades. Bastards.
I’m not even a 90 yet, I don’t think, and haven’t bought much gear (because it all sucks).
Part of the trick is to play more societies. You have to pay a fee to get into some of then, but you get 72 per round, instead of 50-something, so if it’s a 2 or 4 round event you come out a few dozen coins ahead.

I don’t even understand how any of this works, and I’ll go to my grave believing that something changed the way you putt/chip/pitch in this game earlier this season. This is the first season I can recall dating back to the F1 Team days where I’ve been wholly uncompetitive.
I have like 10K VC, but can’t seem to improve my player, who is stuck at an 87. Any time I try to use a fitting all it does is make my skills worse.
Not very fun at the moment. Maybe need to take next season off, because this has turned from something to have fun with and look forward to to a fucking slog because they made the game too complicated from a fitting/skills perspective, IMO.
