the new putting mechanic making it a lot harder to hit precise power definitely isnt ideal for the PD greens. I cant wait to see what you’ve done with my beautiful boy…

and I know it wont be as bad as what the suckers on TGC Plat are going to get next week.

I have recently been informed that I’ve been putting my scores in the wrong flight all season. I apologize in advance for those in C-Suite this week

Well fuck.

I have it all fixed! Small impact to some points distributions for past events but overall no big changes

Thank you for all that you do online

no matter how many hundreds of rounds I’ve played at IRL and virtual PD…I still get baited into making the same stupid mistakes that a smarter man than I knows not to make.

Hitting 4-8’ putts in this game which must be aimed a cup outside the hole is both life affirming and terrifying just hoping you’ve got the perfect pace and line (spoiler - I missed at least 5 of them).

Can someone explain to me how TGC Tours works? Just randomly clicked into the society and am playing, but not sure if there’s a process I need to be following

For sure! Info here TGCTours

You will need to register on their site and play a quali event (in the CC society). Make sure third party data is turned on within your game settings as well, since they pull API so the scores and data come over automatically. No fancy Google sheets for them

First go to www.tgctours.com to sign up and register for qualifying.

To qualify you’ll play in that week’s CC society. If you score well enough, then you’ll earn a tour card and be assigned to one of the tours for future weeks. You can qualify anywhere from CC-L all the way up to the Platinum Tour. It’s based on 1) your score and 2) available cards for each tour that week.

The website explains how promotion/demotion between the tours works. Their discord server is also very helpful for figuring out the lay of the land

SEASON 25 - WEEK 8 UPDATE - Sheet 212

Thanks @mctrees02 for a great RCR of Prairie Dunes! Many ejections were had, but players were still able to go low so it was gettable.

Individual flight winners:

  • Young Hitters: @akdarling was on one in round 1, and that was the difference this week!
  • C-Suite: @Broth is the only player double digits under par by a mile
  • Strapped: @Jvarnet10 is now up to 4 wins in a row after being promoted up from LPCP!
  • LPCP: @theLeemur has been lurking a bit this season and gets the breakthrough win!

As ever, if you see points not pulling properly, some formula doing something weird, or anything amiss, please ping me so I can take a look.

New Qualifiers:

no new qualifiers

Shhedule for the week

I didn’t see a proper version of Erin Hills in the game yet, so we’re going over to the west coast of the US with MPCC. Another really good RCR as we continue the heater of Pasatiempo, Prairie, and now here. Should be a good week for the Carmel Championship!

Also, I think I deserve to be demoted.

Did the putting engine change since Event 7? Seemed like I was playing a different game, especially in R3/R4 with tougher hole locations.

You’ve got this, I believe in you!

I can’t remember what date it was, but there was a pretty significant patch probably about a month ago. The biggest changes were making partial shots more difficult to hit the exact perfect percentage, and ball physics on chip/pitch shots with higher lofted clubs. I don’t think there was anything in the patch notes about putting specifically, but HB has always been lacking when it comes to details in their patch notes.

Just a heads up my totals didn’t add up in C-Suite I didn’t want to put in my own formula for the math and screw it all up (clements)
