I just got promoted to Elite after back to back top 10’s in Kinetic. Half excited to see how I stack up, half scared

First fantasy course of the new game, many more to come! We try to mix them in occasionally but not overdo it, once or twice per season.

Still waiting to see if a quality version of Erin Hills pops up in the game ahead of the USWO, if not I’ll find somewhere else for us to go next week.

I feel like I’m getting worse at this game and really in my head with swing thoughts. This game is much more of a Golf Psychology Sim then a Golf Video Game.

Third round #17 pin is diabolical if you miss left or right. I stuck this year
Toughest test of golf yet, my gosh you need to spot on with second shot precision
Was feeling pretty good about my play through the first two rounds then suffered a slow painful death with bogey after bogey in the third.
got around in -2 in the first round and I think I used Power drive or stinger on every hole to either avoid the wind or take advantage of it
Taking a break from TGC this week and I didn’t have time to get my first 2 rounds in…and I want to get used to the new swing before I get a demo mark lol
I got spooked by the changes in the latest update and played way too conservative in my first round. Just played a ranked tour event on pro and shot 15 under, so no longer spooked by the changes. They did make partial shots harder, but you just need to concentrate a little more, which is cool, because if I concentrate on transition, I lose a little focus on swing path, which is how it should be.
Round 1 conditions were pretty tough though. This another course where I think fidelity to real life contours makes it almost too hard. You shouldn’t be able to land the ball near the pin on the back of the green and have it roll all the way off the front, and too many courses in this game do that. Every time I want to complain about that I remember that we have some holes at Kingsley with some very extreme contours, but you’re never hitting the middle of the green, only to end up 20 yards off in one direction or another.

I’ve been so unplugged from this game I didn’t know things were changed besides giving chips and pitches proper spin. Don’t even have a character at 99 yet! Rolling with a 91 Technician
