I will be unbelievably sad if they do not include some type of concede putt or concede hole mechanic in matchmaking.
SEASON 24 - WEEK 10 UPDATE - The Dumpster Fire
A fitting end to the last 2K23 regular season with a proper Dumpster Fire. There were ejections, rejections, birdies, eagles, and everything in between.
Individual flight winners:
- Young Hitters: @kmart796 is the latest of the Young Hitters to rise to the occasion!
- C-Suite: @wseitz26 finishing strong!
- Strapped: Three players tied for the lead! @justmuckit wins in the scorecard playoff over @btwat and @lostinspace!
- LPCP: @LittleBallFirst successfully hit the little ball first this week!
Final Season Points Standings:
- Young Hitters: there was just no stopping @BlakeG
- C-Suite: A tightly fought contest, but @wseitz26 is victorious!
- Strapped: @justmuckit ran away with it a bit here
- LPCP: @LittleBallFirst used the win at the last event to seal it!
Shhedule for the week
With that, we’re done with the regular season. I will send a note to the admins to fire up the Butt Cup event in the game societies to start on 2/5 and run for a week. I just need a little time to finalize all the strokes gained data and sort the field and handicaps for the Butt Cup, but I should have the field list populated by tonight.
After that, I’ll plan to add some just for fun leaderboards to the sheet so players can track Silly Szn, no flights just post scores. I think to get through some courses before 2/21, I will devise a schedule so that each event lasts 3 days, but certainly feel free to go back and post scores after the fact to see where you stack up. Scheduling dates is just so the admins can put something in the game societies rather than everyone needing to play on their own.

I appreciate all of you continuing to play! Hopefully we get some more of the old guard back with 2K25 as well. If trends hold, 2K25 will be half off like 3 weeks after launch, so even if it’s a bit pricey to start keep an eye on it.
@theLeemur I will do my best to make it! December holiday times are always a bit tricky, I’ll try to not blow my entire travel budget on Japan this fall.

I haven’t read much about the changes but I find that provocative. Is it to prevent manipulators (cheaters) from disabling L-R input on the joystick so swings were always straight?

Didn’t mess with difficulty settings, so these issues (for me) are likely going to be even worse…
The new meter makes any kind of touch shot infinitely harder.
It looks like they may have fixed the wind, and applied it consistently.
